Begun as a remodeling project of a late 1800’s farm house this project led to the design of an entirely new home constructed of structural insulated panels. The home serves as a vacation home and center for friends and family to share on occasional weekends for fox hunting expeditions. The two story four-square styled residence accommodates a second floor with five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first floor was designed with an open floor plan with a kitchen, breakfast room, library, master bedroom suite, mudroom, laundry room and full bathroom. To encourage relaxation we designed a deep wrap around porch that overlooks a grand view of the 20 plus acres of property on which this home was sited. Furnishing the home was done through a consultant with Pottery Barn. Every room was appointed with furnishing, fixtures, and finishes coordinated and provided by Pottery Barn.
